When does insurance cover cosmetic surgery?
For cosmetic surgical procedures, it is most common that insurance will not provide coverage for conditions that do not include specific diseases or interference of function (such as nasal airways, permanent drooping of the upper eyelids, etc). It is customary to make financial arrangements and payments prior to having surgery.
After your consultation at The Gallery of Cosmetic Surgery in Seattle, an accurate cost estimate will be provided, including the surgeons fee, use of operating room and anesthesia services (if needed).
The Gallery of Cosmetic Surgery requires a $1000 non-refundable deposit to reserve your surgery date. Full payment will be collected 2 weeks prior to surgery at your pre-operative appointment. At this time, we will review pre and post operative instructions, answer any additional questions you may have, review your health history and discuss expectations.
