Radiesse
Radiesse® is a safe, next generation cosmetic dermal filler that is setting a new standard for the correction of facial lines and wrinkles, restoring a natural, youthful look in an easy, convenient treatment. Numerous medical studies have shown that Radiesse® is a safe, longer lasting treatment to fill and correct smile lines, nasolabial folds and wrinkles around the nose and mouth. Radiesse is FDA approved, stimulates your skin to produce new collagen, is biocompatible and requires no allergy testing. Radiesse® provides immediate, long-lasting correction without the risks associated with permanent implants.
Radiesse can help restore your skin’s youthful, fresh appearance. As you age, your own natural collagen breaks down, the building block that gives skin volume, strength and elasticity. As a result of this diminishing volume, wrinkles and skin laxity are inevitable.
Fortunately, you have options. Dr. Craig Jonov performs Radiesse treatment in Seattle to help patients achieve a more rested, youthful appearance by restoring or creating mild to moderate changes in your skin’s soft tissue contour.
Radiesse is best for:
- Nasolabial folds, also known as “smile lines”
- Marionette lines
- Chin-lip creases
- Lip enhancement
- Depressed scars
- Peri-oral lines

What to Expect During Radiesse Treatment:
You will have a personal consultation with Dr. Jonov to determine whether Radiesse treatment is right for you.
Although Radiesse treatments do not take long to administer, Dr. Jonov may use a nerve block or numbing cream to reduce any possible discomfort. During the procedure, Dr. Jonov injects the product beneath the skin using a special technique. Improvements to the contours to the skin can be seen almost immediately and can last up to two years.
Radiesse can be used alone or in conjunction with other facial rejuvenation procedures such as laser skin rejuvenation, chemical peels or facial surgery.
After Radiesse Treatment
Most patients are up and around immediately after receiving their Radiesse treatments. The treatment site may have a little swelling, which may last 24 to 36 hours, depending on the area treated. Dr. Jonov will prescribe medication to control any discomfort you experience following the procedure.
